Barbara Lesesne

A native Charlestonian with French Huguenot roots, Barbara Lesesne’s passion for retail bloomed in high school while working for her family’s business. After summers at the family store and college graduation, Barbara bid the Lowcountry adieu for Paris and The Sorbonne. Immersed in Parisian culture, she developed a love for the language, art, food and style that led to years of sharing it with thousands of students – and ultimately with her daughter, Bryte and son-in-law and architect Neal Van Dalen with the creation of Lesesne.
